Iguana Droppings, by Kevin
Or rather, garobo droppings (we’ve
been told that we are wrong and those dinosaur-looking lizards are NOT iguanas,
they are garobos – iguanas are much prettier).
Can you see it in the picture below?
That big guy did his business right on the hood of our car. What's better? I saw it happen. We were at church with our car parked on the grass, under this tree. I ran out to the car to grab something and thought it was really cool to watch this big old iguana garobo climb up this really tall tree. It was climbing up right next to me. So cool. Then, a minute later, while I'm still sitting there, I hear something thudding the top of our car. I'm like, "Whaaa...?" (in a Minions voice), then it dawns on me. Our car is under attack! I start looking around to try to figure out how to stop it and realize there's nothing for me to do. It's too late.
At least we know what garobo droppings look like now. Costa Rica mission accomplished?
That sucker is about four feet long. The branch it's sitting on is probably 30 feet up in the air. No, its bombs didn't whistle on their way down. :)
