China, Day 3: The Temple of Heaven

Temple of Heaven

This was the beginning of random people asking to take their picture with us. We had fun with it. The kids thought it was funny, although the way through the end of the trip.

Each emperor would make their own slab. This one is of a dragon.

Coming out of the temple, but still on the grounds, there were locals all along this long walkway, playing cards and Chinese chess.

Intense game of Chinese chess going on in there.

We played at the park for a while before heading over to the Pearl Market.

At the same park. Tons of locals doing Tai Chi  (or something).

Outside of the Pearl Market, which was not at all what we thought it would be. No pearls anywhere. Lots of aggressive shops selling knock-off junk (in my opinion, I'm sure some of it is great).
