The Rainy Season, by Jack
So, we got here in the rainy season and like every day it either rains all morning or all afternoon.Sometimes it's a little hard when you miss your family, friends, (even though some of our family, and friends are coming down to visit)ward, and home back in NSL but it doesn't ruin the trip. But it's an adventure (a fun adventure). But it's so hot here that no one in my family really seams to care,(unless some one is in a bad mood). Not all the food is the best down here (because there's not as much sugar in the food down here so the candie isn't as good but the good food is good sometimes better). One of my favorite beaches was playa tamarindo, I really liked it because it was really shallow (you could go like 30 meters away from shore and it would be a little lower than my shoulders)and there were quite a few really good boogie boarding waves (the waves were really good because they were really strong and started really around 40 meters and carried me and Sadie all the way to shore when we were like 30 meters out). We have our own private beach, it has 2 rock parts with tide pools, we saw tiny fish in a bunch of tide pools.
Hey Jacko!! I went into the backyard saturday to get some tools (we helped Katie and Tavi put in their backyard sprinkler system) and looked at the raspberry patch you helped me prune... that is such a great memory for me and I appreciated your help and 'chat' so much!! Also the leaves... oh my... ALL those leaves you helped us rake up and put in the garden....THANK YOU!!! It sounds like you're really loving the beach and boogie boarding... I can just see you and your wonderful smile cruising to the shore! Hmmm.. the rain... well, I guess that's why it's so pretty and green! Give your sisters and mom and dad big hugs from Grandpa and I... we love you and miss you and are so happy you are having such a great adventure in Costa Rica!! Have a WONDERFUL day!!
